- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- American Red Cross Basic First Aid preferred.
- This position does not require lifeguard duties.

Job Summary (Essential Functions)
The Pool Assistant Supervisor at River Hills Country Club plays a pivotal role in creating a premium and enjoyable poolside experience for members and guests. This position is responsible for providing exceptional service, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and overseeing poolside dining services. The Pool Assistant Supervisor ensures that all members and guests feel valued and attended to, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Personally welcomes and registers all members and guests upon arrival at the pool area, setting a positive and friendly tone.
- Proactively offers assistance with poolside lunch service, ensuring orders are placed efficiently and delivered with attentiveness.
- Conducts regular follow-ups with members to confirm satisfaction with food, beverages, and overall pool experience, promptly addressing any additional needs.
- Ensures adherence to club safety protocols by professionally and courteously communicating with members about safety guidelines.
- Oversees and participates in special pool events, ensuring smooth execution and an enjoyable experience for attendees.
- Assists the Cabana Bartender with necessary supplies to maintain seamless service throughout the day.
- Builds strong relationships with lifeguards and staff to cultivate a cooperative and service-oriented work environment.
- Implements and upholds the club’s pool safety program, ensuring a secure and enjoyable environment.
- Assists members with finding misplaced items by utilizing the lost and found system established by the Pool Supervisor.
- Conducts routine inspections of the pool, locker rooms, and changing areas to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Maintains an active presence during peak hours and special pool events to engage with members and address concerns in real-time.
- Performs other duties as assigned by club management to enhance the overall pool experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to work in hot, humid, and wet conditions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with frequent member interactions.
- Able to tolerate exposure to pool chemicals, cleaning agents, and the scent of chlorine.
- Capable of performing the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

This position is a seasonal position with the intent of continuing employment as a part-time employee once the pool season is over. The Pool Assistant Supervisor would be in this position from early May through the end of September. It involves a varied schedule that could include a shift of 10-8 as well as short shifts (10-3, 3-8). Weekends and Holidays are required scheduled workdays.
