Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
We are looking to add a Full and/or Part Time Technicianto our team. North Shore VeterinaryHospital islocated right off of Lake Superior. Our team has a passion for education,mentorship, growth, and excellent work-life-balance. We have been AAHA accredited for over 40 years, and wasthe first Fear Freecertified practice in Minnesota (7th in the United States). Candidates must have customer service experience, be able to lift and carry 40 pounds, be comfortable with dogs and cats in both life and death, and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. An ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills and a compassionate heart for people and their pets. Candidates who enjoy working in a collaborative environment would thrive at NSVH. New graduates are encourage to apply. Duties include assisting with wellness and injury appointments, surgical procedures and x-rays, dentals, lab work, and client education.
