- Follows appropriate safety precautions and demonstrates proper restraint techniques.
- Proactively assesses patient needs, records all findings, and notifies veterinarian.
- Can collect, prepare and run laboratory samples to include urine, blood and feces.
- Is proficient in placing catheters and monitoring patients.
- Enjoys obtaining radiographs and assisting the veterinarian during surgical procedures.
- Holds a current Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure or has at least two years experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
- Is ethical, punctual, and has excellent time management skills.
- Bonus points if you have an interest in Rehabilitation & experience with Avimark.
- We are AAHA accredited

- Our hospital provides 24 / 7 on-site emergency care and is well-equipped - we have an endoscope, a complete surgical suite, digital radiography, a water treadmill, a class IV laser, an ultrasound, and a full in house laboratory
