Job Description
The Care Giver/Med Tech role involves providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.
- Provide designated care for a group of residents during each shift.
- Observe and report symptoms and conditions of residents, including changes in skin, behavior, alertness, weight, dietary habits, and participation in activities.
- Respond promptly to security system alerts and resident call bells.
- Notify supervisors or Health Care Coordinators if residents require increased care.
Maintenance and Sanitation:
- Assist with continence management and properly dispose of continence products to ensure sanitation of resident suites and community restrooms.
- Serve and collect food trays as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
- First Aid Certification is beneficial.
