Front Office Agent
The Front Office is at the heart of every hotel, and our front-of-house staff are some of the most important members of the team. They are the first to meet and interact with our guests; they have the first opportunity to provide them with impeccable service. The Front Office team often set the tone for the entirety of the guests' stay through their demeanor and professionalism as a representative of the Company.
Requirements
Utilize high-level interpersonal skills to uphold friendly and courteous interactions with guests and employees.
Greet guests upon arrival; check-ins using hotel software and provide information needed to enjoy their stay.
Coordinate all guest requests for special arrangements or services courteously and efficiently.
Attended to the immediate needs of VIPs upon arrival and followed through with attention throughout their stay.
Become familiar with all returning guests and know their special requests.
Assist the Sales Department with new reservations as needed.
Ability to multitask in a high-profile, high-traffic environment.
Team-oriented and self-motivated; able to work unsupervised.
Assist with guest luggage, if necessary (ability to lift up to 50 lbs.)
Assist guests by selling future reservations.
Ability to upsell room packages, as well as room types to incoming guests.
Prompt follow-up with guest inquiry leads to second-chance bookings.
Answer telephone calls and emails in a professional manner
Maintain potential and current guest profile information.
Assist customers with questions regarding their existing reservations.
Provide concierge services with general knowledge of the property and surrounding area including restaurants, entertainment, special events, and general directions.
Deliver the highest standard of service to all customers.
Effectively manage daily correspondence and operational tasks to exceed customer expectations and expand customer base.
Proficient in Front Desk & Reservations responsibilities for a full understanding of Front Office operations.
Willingly perform other reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
