Seasonal Host
*Opportunity for Permanent Role*
Brickmans at The Links is the property's main restaurant. You will be responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests as they arrive, as well as a fond farewell when they depart. You will manage the seating of the guests and show them to their table or waiting area. You will engage with guests to ensure they are enjoying their dining experience.
The duties of a seasonal host include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greet guests as they enter and provide information and directions as needed.
- Possess a good knowledge of the menu, able to provide menus to guests and answer any questions.
- Seat guests at tables or place them on a waitlist.
- Assign guests to preferred tables while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive a fair number of customers. Update the floor chart regularly throughout the shift.
- Clean menus as required throughout the shift.
- Ensure the front door area and waiting lobby are maintained and cleaned inside and out.
- Keep the Host stand clean and stocked with necessary items.
- Engage and provide excellent hospitality and service to the guests to ensure they enjoy their experience.
- Possess good phone hospitality, make reservations, and answer any questions.
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
