Tech Director-(PT)
Position Summary
The Tech Director (TD) oversees all aspects of technical production at the Pleasant Prairie campus, ensuring excellence in audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems in a portable, set-up-and-tear-down environment.
This position reports to the Pleasant Prairie Campus Pastor and collaborates closely with the Tech Director at the Lake Geneva Campus.
Status: Part Time: 10-20 hours/wk
You Will:
Lead:
- Recruit, train, and disciple a volunteer team to set up, operate, and tear down AVL systems.
- Build a culture of empowerment, excellence, and innovation among the tech team.
- Ensure technical systems run smoothly during weekend services and events.
Direct:
- Oversee high-quality technical production for worship services in a mobile context.
- Collaborate with the Worship Pastor and Campus Pastor to create seamless worship experiences.
- Manage the storage, maintenance, and transport of portable AVL equipment.
Support:
- Partner with the Lake Geneva Tech Director for technical consistency across campuses.
- Provide technical expertise for events and portable setups.
- Contribute creative ideas for lighting, sound, video, and stage design to enhance the worship experience.
You Have:
- Proven experience with AVL systems in a portable environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of live sound mixing, lighting design, and video production.
- Experience with technical software (e.g., ProPresenter, Dante, digital audio consoles).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Passion for Lakeland’s mission and vision.
