General Function:
Under the guidance of the Childcare Program Director; the toddler lead is responsible for an assigned group of 2 and 3 year olds. Responsibilities include following the group daily schedule, attending to the care of each assigned child, clean & disinfect toys, room cleanliness, implementing age-appropriate activities, communication to parents, making sure state regulations are followed and working with other staff cooperatively. It is our goal to nurture in a fun, loving, positive manner, in which a child can grow and become sure of themselves and their abilities through physical and social learning.
Full and Part Time positions available.
Qualifications
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have a strong interest and knowledge in toddler development.
- Must possess strong communication and leadership skills, be compassionate and patient and have the knowledge necessary to establish and maintain a high-quality program.
- Must have the ability to work cooperatively with other staff members and volunteers to meet the needs of the YMCA.
- Must possess and maintain a clean criminal record.
- Be certified in first aid and CPR (provided by the YMCA)

Salary : $18 - $22
