Job Summary:
The Quality Auditor audits and prepares material for shipment as well as verifying the quality of job start-ups.
THIS IS A FIRST SHIFT POSITION: 6:00am - 2:45pm
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete quality job set-ups for production line start-ups using appropriate measurement equipment.
- Record data for jobs in PLEX Check sheets.
- Follow non-conforming procedure for any out of specification parts and report specification issues to Quality Supervisor.
- Record and store first piece approval parts, including paint millage, gloss, and color, and other tests as needed.
- Provide production lines with correct part ID labels and ensure correct component loading process is being used.
- Audit skids to prepare for shipment, including physical inspection of predetermined amount of finished goods, ensuring correct labels on FG containers and FG parts as needed, checking skid and container quantities, and creating master skid labels using PLEX.
- Reject non-conforming product per set process when found and report non-conforming product to Quality and Production Supervisors.
- Assist inspectors, GP-12 personnel, and Incoming Inspector, providing support when needed and ensuring proper inspection processes are followed.
Other duties:
- Assist Quality Engineer and Quality Supervisor with projects as needed.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Quality Manager as necessary.

Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or certificate of equivalency.
- 1-year Quality Inspection experience or equivalent
- Tier 3-4 Inspection level status or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional sitting, use of hands, and talking or hearing.
- Frequent reaching with hands and arms.
- Regular standing and walking.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
