Position Summary
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate echocardiographic services consistent with professional practice standards to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary communication. Responsible to practice within their scope of licensure in accordance with approved policies, procedures and protocols. Non-invasive studies are conducted according to provider directives using training in ultrasound scanning techniques and applying knowledge of cardiovascular disease. Results are documented into the electronic patient health record and communicated to provider.
