MRI Technologist
Saturday and Sunday; 3 : 00pm-3 : 30 am

Utilizes communication, patient care and collaborative skills to interact with patients and other members of the health care team; ascertains each individual's safety in the MR environment before entering the magnetic field; utilizes knowledge of anatomy, physiology and principles of MRI to safely and efficiently operate MRI scanners; assists in the diagnosis of disease and injury; practices within their scope of licensure in accordance with approved policies, procedures and protocols; performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements include :
- Associate’s degree
- Knowledge of routine, trauma and specialized MRI procedures, including but not limited to, Neuro, Ortho, Body and Cardiovascular MRI
- Patient assessment skills
- Venipuncture skills; ability to establish an IV site
- Qualifications & Experience
- BCLS certification
- BLS-CPR certification for Healthcare Worker (must include a hands-on component and AHA approved) at time of hire.
Two years full-time experience preferred; no experience necessary for new graduate with advanced registry of ARRT (MR). Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology preferred.
