Primary responsibilities are the pulling of the set-up carts for the following days procedures and inventory counts of all supplies within the Main Operating Room. Other functions include maintaining files, recording all purchases, ordering supplies to maintain par levels, inventory and to meet patient needs. Will be in communication with the Purchasing Assistants and the Materials Manager with supply issues daily and must identify opportunities for and contribute to the improvement of quality, safety and cost, as well as, patient, customer and employee satisfaction.
Standard Work Duties: Surgery Clerk
- Using the surgeon preference sheets, pulls all product for surgery cases accurately and within established time frames and stages the set-up cart in designated area.
- Accurately completes manual inventory counts and orders product through the Materials Management Information System.
- Receives, verifies and restocks product in designated areas.
- Checks par levels and makes recommendations for changes
- Maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment

Essential:
