Pay Rate: Min $37.36 Mid $46.50 Position Summary
Responsibility for performing all echocardiograms to include 2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Pulse Wave Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, Transesophageal echocardiogram, stress echo and other related examinations according to established standards and practices at a high technical level. All echo technologists will perform echocardiograms in accordance with the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories standards.

Essential:
- Experience with equipment including: Phillips IE33, HD11, CX50. Tee probe sterilization process. Stress echos, and pediatric echos.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- ACLS
Qualifications & Experience

- High School or Equivalent

- Completion of an accredited Echocardiography program
Essential:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
Other information: Certifications Essential: Cardiac Sonographer Registry RCS or RCDS within two years of hire. Certifications Preferred: Cardiac Sonographer Registry, RCS or RCDS Experience Essential: Either prior work experience or a clinical practicum at an acute care hospital. Experience Preferred: One year of experience in an acute care hospital.
