Position Summary Summary: Deliver care to patients under the direction/delegation of the Registered Nurse or licensed nurse assigned by the RN, as needed, and must be able to perform satisfactorily the specific patient care skills as outlined by the facility and the department(s). Must effectively interact with patients, families and other health team members. Must report pertinent information to the RN or licensed nurse assigned by the RN, as needed, and respond to requests for information in a timely manner. Assist with tasks to support patient care.
Position Details Detailed responsibilities: * Standard Work: Nurse Intern I (PRN) - Performs activities of daily living as delegated by the RN. - Accurate and timely documentation/communication of vital signs, intake and output, weights. - Immediately communicates any changes in patient condition or behavior to RN.

Qualifications & Experience Education: Essential: * High School or Equivalent
Education equivalent experience: Essential: * Actively enrolled in a state approved RN program and completion of first semester of required nursing sequence. Must maintain active status and progression in clinical nursing sequence during the entire length of time in this job code.
