Aquatic Herbicide Operator/Applicator – $21 /hr

We have multiple large, weather-dependent projects within 4 hours of Priest River, ID with opportunity for overtime pay, including approximately 10 days at Flathead Lake in MT, and 10 days in Nine Mile Falls, WA ,with company provided lodging and meals.
Work is performed Mon-Fri. Work may be conducted on Saturdays but will be avoided if possible. Sundays will not be work days, though paid Sunday evening travel for long, overnight trips are possible.
The Job:
- Operating and assisting with herbicide applications
- Pulling hoses and using spray guns for aquatic treatments
- Accurately recording application data
- Working long days outdoors in cold weather conditions
Requirements:
- Physically capable of strenuous labor for extended periods
- Able to write and record data legibly
- Cold-hardy and mentally tough
Bonus Skills (Higher Pay Considered):
- Truck/Trailer backing and boat operation experience
- Herbicide applicator license (or willingness to obtain one)
- Mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- GIS knowledge or education in natural/environmental sciences
Starting Pay: $21/hr, more for experience and specialized skills. No prior experience required—just a strong work ethic and the right mindset.
