Position Overview:
This position collaborates directly with our patients to set them up for successful CPAP therapy. Direct interaction with patients is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
·Patient setups in patient's office. Equipment generally includes (but is not limited to) CPAP, BiPAP, and other equipment as assigned.
·Educates patients and caregivers how to trouble shoot and properly care for their equipment. Setup of patient’s machine, and setting machine pressure, comfort settings, etc. per the specifications of the patient’s prescription. Fitting patients with the appropriate mask type and size and educating patients on the usage and maintenance of their equipment so they are able to be successful and compliant.
·Consult with patients/customers to answer questions regarding sleep therapy, equipment, risks, costs, and other general concerns.
·Maintain patient charts accurately and ensure all required documents are completed.
·Track and order DME inventory for location
·Assist patient with Home Sleep Testing as appropriate (based on location)
·Interface with providers as appropriate for optimal therapy
·Perform other general duties that may be assigned from time to time.

·Excellent computer skills and ability to quickly learn new database programs.

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
·Computer skills including knowledge of Brightree and Microsoft Office applications.
Education and Qualifications
·High School Diploma
·Minimum of 1-year healthcare experience
·Prefer a minimum of 2 years Sleep testing, or CPAP set up experiences.
- Prefer Respiratory Therapist license (Preferred), LPN, or RPSGT
- Current CPR certification or ability to obta.in
