Description
Lakemary is looking for a full-time KDOT Transporter for our Transportation Department. In this role you will provide driving services to the local community and complete administrative duties. This role functions under general supervision of a Coordinator.
KDOT Transporter Responsibilities:
- Responsible for community transports which includes scheduling and timely pick-ups.
- Conduct Pre-Post Trip Audits
- Clean Vehicles as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator
- Provide backup driving services to the Day and Adult Program.
An ideal candidate for this position has:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel)
- Communicate clearly and concisely with the community
- Be flexible and adjust to changes that may occur during the day
- Basic knowledge of KDOT and FMCSA vehicles
KDOT Transporter Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Be at least 25 years of age
- Must maintain a good driving record
- Must obtain FMCSA medical certification and successfully complete a KDOT drug screening.
- Previous driver’s experience preferred
Other Job Details:
- Monday- Friday 7:30am-4pm
- Starting pay: $ 15.00/hour
