Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher, you will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to a safe and hygienic environment for food preparation. This position is essential in supporting our restaurant or catering services, where teamwork and attention to detail are paramount.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables and ensuring that all necessary items are available for service.
• Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the kitchen manager promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to following health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also being self-motivated.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
