What you'll do:
- Be an engaging leader who provides direction, oversight, training and development to the Preschool Coordinator, childcare staff, and volunteer team
- You will be responsible for the recruiting, planning, and scheduling childcare volunteers for all programming at your campus
- Regularly communicate with, care for, appreciate, and provide pastoral leadership to volunteer leaders
- Lead in planning and implementing leadership training and planning meetings, encouragement events and leadership parties
- Oversee volunteer/leader onboarding process (placement, orientation, training & development
- Oversight of all Forney kid's budget accounts
- Direct staff and volunteer teams to identify and guide kids and parents toward their next step in their faith walk (including baptisms for children, teens and adults).
- Lead Kid’s Ministry special events including Parent Dedication, KidQuest, Young Christians Class, etc.
- Oversee Kid's weekend and mid-week services/programming which includes room preparation, contextualizing mid-week curriculum for Forney campus, volunteer recruitment, staffing & training
Skills & Attributes:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Kid’s ministry leadership experience (staff or volunteer) is preferred
- Teaching experience or early childhood development roles are a plus
