Lakeridge Association/Tax District, a gated Community in Torrington, is seeking a friendly and reliable Lodge Attendant to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents and guests. As a Lodge Attendant, you will be the face of our facilities, ensuring a clean, organized, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
About the Role:
The Lodge Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the comfort and aesthetic appeal of our lodge facilities. You will interact with residents and guests, manage reservations, enforce rules, and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the space. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and an aesthetically pleasing environment in all lodging facilities.
- Proactively engage with residents and guests, providing friendly and helpful assistance.
- Check residents and guests in and out of the facilities.
- Handle amenity reservations efficiently and accurately.
- Answer telephone calls and provide accurate information.
- Perform routine daily inspections of locker rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness by picking up trash/litter, wiping down chairs and tables, and ensuring overall tidiness.
- Perform all opening and/or closing procedures affiliated with the Lodge.
- Complete daily checklists and facilities’ opening and closing protocols in their entirety.
Safety and Regulations:
Enforce recreational rules and regulations to maintain discipline and ensure safety.
Document any incidents and/or injuries accurately and promptly.
Be observant of safety hazards and report them immediately.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest interactions.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
