Description
JOB FUNCTION :
To plan and implement learning experiences that advance the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children to promote school readiness. Support families in accessing necessary resources, completing program requirements, setting and achieving goals, and being involved in their child's education.
The successful candidate who fills this position will receive a $1,000 recruitment incentive payment. The incentive will be paid as a one-time lump sum payment upon completion of a 6-month service period with CAPLP and with a performance review rate of "fully competent". Failure to fulfill the expectations and duties of the position shall terminate any agreed upon Recruitment Incentive and may warrant reimbursement of the incentive.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS : Minimum :
One of the following :Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in early childhood education
Coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood educationValid Driver's License and current vehicle insurancePreferre d :
Prefer 1-year experience in early childhood settingPast Head Start staff or participant experience helpfulExperience working with people with low incomesAMERICANS WITH DISABILITY SPECIFICATIONS :
