JOB FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for management and support of technology and information systems. Works in close collaboration with Managed IT Provider and Leadership Team on agency-wide technology management. The employee’s primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
-
One of the following:
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field;
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
Preferred
- Lived experience or a history working with individuals with low incomes

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Technology Management
a) Lead and initiate technology projects including evaluation, research, planning and implementation.
b) Serve as the primary contact for managed IT service provider and technology vendors.
c) Develop and maintain procedural documentation for technology systems.
d) Serve as Share Point Administrator.
Equipment Management
a) Setup and configure work stations and install software as needed for team members.
b) In collaboration with managed IT service provider, manage the deployment, maintenance, repair, support and upgrade of PC’s, software, hardware, and operating systems for multiple local and remote computer systems.
c) Purchase, set up and install electronic devices including iPads, smartphones, printers, etc.
d) Responsible for maintaining technology assets and inventory of technology assets.
User Management
a) Manage and administer WebEx, Office 365, and agency enterprise applications.
b) Create and manage users and distribution lists, assign security and password restrictions, and change access according to job functions.
c) Responsible for disabling terminated users and securing data.
d) Assist users with ongoing technical issues that require escalated assistance.
Training & Employee Assistance
a) Act as liaison between Managed IT helpdesk and staff as needed.
b) Provide technology orientation and training to team members, volunteers and interns.
c) Provide training to team members on current and emerging technologies.
d) Schedule, provide and evaluate user training on technology related topics.
e) Assist divisions with evaluation of specific technology requirements and needs.
Agency and Division Support
a) Represent Agency in communities we serve
b) Align and build on efforts to achieve a shared vision and common goals in serving people
c) Assist with Agency projects as requested
d) Attend and participate in agency, community and state meetings as requested
e) Participate in agency provided trainings and seek out additional training to enhance professional development
f) Assist with onboarding and training of CAPLP team members as requested
g) Compile and submit required documentation
h) Availability to work designated Agency hours for your Division and position
