Maintenance Technician at Lakes Property Management

Your Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and appearance of our properties. You'll tackle a variety of tasks, ensuring each day is both challenging and rewarding. From general upkeep to tackling specific maintenance requests, your role is vital in keeping our properties safe, functional, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cleanups, paintwork, and general repairs.
- Exhibit proficiency in light electrical tasks, plumbing, and general carpentry.
- Safely and effectively operate a range of equipment and machinery.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Promptly report any construction or maintenance issues to the supervisory team.
- Utilize a variety of hardware and tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Regularly inspect property grounds and common areas, ensuring all maintenance needs are addressed.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests as directed, guaranteeing tenant satisfaction.
Schedule & Physical Requirements:
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency response.
- Capability to stand and move for extended periods, including navigating various surfaces and staircases.
- Proficiency in operating vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.
What We’re Looking For:
- A collaborative team player with a dependable nature.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs and engage in physically demanding tasks.
- Experience in carpentry, concrete work, or mechanical tool operation is advantageous.
- Willingness to train the right candidate with a knack for mechanical tasks or hands-on work.
- Must have reliable transportation for daily commute.
