Job Title: Executive Officer
Job Type: Part-Time (Average 30 hours per week)
Location: Flexible (Remote work, must live within the lakes region community)
Position Overview:
The Lakes Region Builders & Remodelers Association (LRBRA), a non-profit trade organization, seeks a dynamic, self-motivated professional to serve as our Executive Officer. This individual will focus on membership growth, event coordination, fundraising, financial oversight, and communication. This part-time role averages 30 hours per week, with increased hours in June (for the Annual Golf Tournament) and September-October (for the Parade of Homes). Hours may diminish during summer as membership focuses on building season.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Coordination: Provide leadership and support for organizational initiatives and member engagement.
- Board Engagement: Prepare agendas, financial reports, and other materials for Board of Directors and Executive Committee meetings; actively participate in all meetings and association events.
- Membership Growth: Develop and execute strategies for recruiting, retaining, and engaging members; maintain a membership database and ensure accurate member communications.
- Event Planning & Fundraising: Coordinate and oversee association events, particularly the Annual Golf Tournament and Parade of Homes, while managing fundraising efforts.
- Financial Management: Work with the Board to create and manage the annual budget, ensuring funds and assets are properly safeguarded.
- Communication & Marketing: Manage the association’s website, social media presence, newsletters, and marketing materials using tools like Canva or InDesign.
- Partnerships: Act as the liaison with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the New Hampshire Home Builders Association (NHHBA).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in association or non-profit management, event coordination, and fundraising.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams.
- Proficiency with reading and interpreting financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google tools.
- Marketing experience, with familiarity in Canva or InDesign being a plus.
- Experience in the homebuilding or construction industry is desirable but not required.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities.
Schedule & Seasonal Hours:
- Standard Schedule: Average 30 hours per week, with flexible work arrangements.
- Increased Hours: Availability for additional hours during major annual events in June (Annual Golf Tournament) and September-October (Parade of Homes).
- Reduced Hours: Diminished hours in the summer months to accommodate homebuilding activities.

Compensation:
Hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications. $30-36/hour as a 1099 independent contractor position, with the opportunity for a W-2 Employee position and possible benefits after 6 months.
