****This is an OVERNIGHT position with paid SLEEP HOURS after job duties are completed that is available either in a part-time or full-time capacity****
Job Summary: The Overnight Therapeutic Support Specialist will provide functional support services to residents of Lakes Region Mental Health Center’s (LRMHC) community residence. Residential Service program staff are considered essential personnel. Sleeping is permitted if all duties are completed.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides functional support services to residents of LRMHC Community Residence.
- Supports residents with accessing crisis stabilization and emergency medical services when needed.
- Completes tasks related to program operations, such as preparing food, inventorying, and cleaning.
- Administers medication as needed if requested by residents.
- Attends weekly clinical meeting and monthly program meetings
- May be required to transport patients in their personal vehicle.
- May perform other related job duties as assigned by their supervisor.
- Attendance is a requirement of this position.

- Must be able to establish a rapport with the patients. Must treat all patients with dignity and respect.
- Ability to organize their workload so that their duties are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
- Understands the LRMHC mission and applies this knowledge productively.
- Ability to use computers and navigate electronic health records.
- Ability to communicate and receive feedback in a respectful manner.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or another related field preferred but not required. One - three years of experience in mental health settings preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Is able to sustain light physical effort such as frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, or reaching and/or occasional lifting of items 20 lbs. or more.
- Is able to tolerate periods of heavy workloads or stress.
