What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supported Employment Specialist position at Lakes Region Mental Health Center?
As a Supported Employment Specialist some of your duties will be to provide direct individual services to patients in the Supportive Employment Program. You will provide vocational counseling and rehabilitative services as well as provide support for patients around vocational planning, job seeking and retention. You will investigate and follow up on employment and training opportunities for patients. You will assist patients to maintain community living by teaching activities of daily living, personal care, and promote independent and productive habits to patients in the community.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services Field with an emphasis in mental health and/or vocational rehab preferred but not required. One to two years of experience with emphasis in mental health preferred, or lived experience.

This position pays $20.50/hour with a $2,000 sign on bonus.
