Assistant Manager

• Ensure Retail Sales Staff are providing exceptional customer service
• Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is aligned with company values
• Ensure Retail Store is in compliance with all rules and regulations governing the marijuana industry
• Ensure Retail Sales Staff is adhering to written procedures at all times
• Directly manage staff and assist with employee scheduling, conflict resolution, and corrective action
• Willingness to take on a variety of different tasks depending on the needs of the business "cross training"
• Perform duties of all positions at the store and help fill any staffing when necessary
• Plan, organize, and delegate work to Retail Sales Staff
• Appropriately plan, organize, and stock inventory sufficient to meet customer needs without interruption
• Maintain Retail Store appearance including cleanliness, sanitation, merchandise displays, and appropriate staff attire
• Ensure cash banks (including petty cash accounts), cash register drawers, and deposits are in balance daily
• Ensure all physical inventory (including back of house stock) is accurately represented in the point-of-sale (Adilas) and electronic tracking systems (METRC)
• Audit areas of compliance and performance randomly, daily, and at the request of Executive Management
• Understand and support Retail Store operational and financial goals
• Work directly with the General Manager to support the goals of the business
• Be the MOD and close the store on a majority of nights

Additional Duties

• Occasional on-call hours and required response to emergency situations
• Assist Retail Sales Staff in customer service and retail sales as needed
• Assist Back of House (BOH) in packaging and labeling as needed
• Use the point-of-sale system Adilas
• Use the electronic tracking system METRC
• Inventory management

Education & Experience

• 2 years of sales experience
• 2 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills

Additional Requirements

• Colorado driver’s license or State ID card
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must currently be, and continually remain compliant with all legal requirements and rules and regulations governing the industry
• Must be approved by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) to receive a badge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
