Full Time Lifeguard
Lakeshore Foundation is currently seeking an energetic individual to work full time in the Aquatics
department. Responsible for ensuring that all persons in the pool area are safe and adhere to
safety procedures. Responsible for activating emergency first aid and/or rescue procedures as
needed.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
Responsible for member safety, for actively scanning the pool and aquatic area and for
immediately responding to emergencies when needed.
Attends in-service trainings as required or directed.
Communicates effectively with all swimmers, staff, and visitors with focus on excellent
customer service.
Monitors safe usage and storage of all aquatic equipment and facilities.
Performs aquatic facility maintenance/cleaning as required or directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in swimming, water safety, emergency first aid and lifeguarding as acquired through
completion of accredited training leading to certification.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation; First Aid; Lifeguard Training and Certification required. Water
Safety Instructor Certification desirable.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with clients and all levels of staff.
Commitment to working in a team environment.
