What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Room Assistant Teacher position at Lakeshore Little People's Place?
Lakeshore Little People's Place, a multi-site Christian licensed child care center, is hiring an Infant Room Assistant Teacher/Caregiver for our Hamilton Site location (in Hamilton, off of M-40). LLPP has been providing high-quality early care and education for 28 years in the Holland/Hamilton area and we seek to find people who:

Our Infant Assistant position is one that requires a balance between being able to safely supervise and help manage a classroom and being able to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE little ones!
The ideal applicant will:
- Be at least 18 years of age and have strong references
- Complete a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting (employer paid)
- Provide employer with a negative TB test
- Promote a Christian, nurturing environment
- Be dedicated to a high quality, nurturing, educational environment
- Build positive relationships with other LLPP employees, children and parents
- Assist with the daily functions of the classroom, including caring for and supervising the children and planning, documenting and implementing daily schedules and lesson plans for infants ages 6 weeks to 9 months of age
- Have availability until 6pm Monday-Friday.
This position is offered as either full-time or part-time employment. Candidate must be available until 6pm M-F, but the number of hours each day has flexibility. We're looking for someone to join our team who is enthusiastic about working with young children and enjoys collaboration with co-workers. Previous experience in a licensed childcare is preferred, but not required. Training, side-by-side coaching when needed, orientation and onboarding, and classroom connections are provided to ensure you feel equipped, professional, and excited about the work ahead with Lakeshore Little People's Place.
Benefits and Pay: Pay is dependent on your education level and years of experience in a child care center.
