What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Assistant Teacher position at Lakeshore Little People's Place?
Lakeshore Little People's Place, a multi-site Christian licensed child care center, is hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant for our Hamilton South site location (off of M-40 in Hamilton). LLPP has been providing high-quality early care and education for 28 years in the Holland/Hamilton area and we seek to find people who:

Our Preschool Assistant position is one that require a balance between being able to safely supervise and help manage a classroom and being able to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE preschool-age children.
The ideal applicant will:
- Be at least 18 years of age and have strong references
- Complete a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting (employer paid)
- Provide employer with a negative TB test
- Promote a Christian, nurturing environment
- Be dedicated to a high quality, educational environment
- Build positive relationships with other LLPP employees, children and parents
- Assist with the daily functions of the classroom, including caring for and supervising the children and planning, documenting and implementing daily schedules and lesson plans for children.
- Have availability Monday - Friday until 6pm.
If a Full-Time Position is desired: Candidate must be available Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm OR 12pm-6pm. This full-time position is offered with benefits.
Part-Time Position: Candidate must be available Monday-Friday from 2-6pm. Benefits are not offered with part-time positions.

Previous experience in a licensed childcare is preferred, but not required.
