Young Preschool Teacher Assistant

Lakeshore Little People's Place, a multi-site Christian licensed child care center, is hiring an Assistant Teacher for our Young Preschool classroom at our Providence site location (south side of Holland). LLPP has been providing high-quality early care and education for 28 years in the Holland/Hamilton area and we seek to find people who:

Our Young Preschool Assistant position is one that requires a balance between being able to safely supervise and help manage a classroom and being able to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE children ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2!

The ideal applicant will:

• Be at least 18 years of age and have strong references
• Complete a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting (employer paid)
• Provide employer with a negative TB test
• Promote a Christian, nurturing environment
• Be dedicated to a high quality, educational environment
• Build positive relationships with other LLPP employees, children and parents
• Assist with the daily functions of the classroom, including caring for and supervising the children and planning, documenting and implementing daily schedules and lesson plans for children 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years of age
• Have availability Monday - Friday from 7:45am-3:45pm.

Full-Time Position: Candidate must be available Monday-Friday from 7:45am-3:45pm for this position. This full-time position is offered with benefits.

Previous experience in a licensed childcare is preferred, but not required.
