What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Coordinator position at Lakeshore Regional Child Advocacy Center?
The Front Desk Coordinator works with the multidisciplinary child abuse investigative team (MDT) to facilitate child abuse evaluations in Lakeshore CAC’s safe, neutral, and family-friendly facilities. The position will predominantly located at the Sheboygan Child Advocacy Center, with occasional travel required to the Saukville Child Advocacy Center. This individual will report to the administrative team. This full-time position will entail working under limited supervision, completing intakes, and scheduling cases at the center, providing clerical support to staff and partners, bookkeeping responsibilities, and providing oversight of the CAC waiting room.
Responsibilities:
· Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.
· Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to facilitating communication via phone, e-mail, and Microsoft Teams and organization of center materials (hardcopy and digital).
· Managing multiple calendars.
· Collect intake information, schedule forensic interviews and medical exams, and ensure that all investigative partners have been notified.
· Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information.
· Collect and record all financial records as outlined by the administrative team.
· Ensure all invoices/bills are reconciled in a timely manner.
· Meet and greet partners, families, and visitors and ensure adherence to center policies.
· Provide waiting room supervision for children and family members.
· In conjunction with the administrative team, recruit, interview, and manage volunteers for the center.
· Ensure waiting room, kitchenette, and other common areas are clean, sanitized, and free of clutter.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Graduation from a standard school supplemented with business courses and other related courses or training or related experience of at least 2 years.
- Background or education in child development and/or experience in working directly with children and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Comfort level and ability to easily interact with children and adults who receive services at Lakeshore CAC.
- Strong computer skills with experience in working with Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate the office management functions.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
- Previous experience in working in an agency that provided services to children and their caregivers and professional groups.
- Experience working with members of the multidisciplinary team, such as law enforcement, human services, victim advocacy, or the district attorney’s office.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
