ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Include the following : (other duties may be assigned)
Lead kids through a range of afterschool programs ranging from sports, recess games, and more. Coordinate programming and staffing schedules.
Participate in daily instruction. Engage kids in activities throughout designated spaces, getting them excited to participate. This is an active role the requires both the planning and participation of activities.
Be a leader in the space, ready to show up with a positive attitude and solution oriented mindset.
Hiring, training, and scheduling of team members.
Build camp programming schedule including activities, supplies, and a schedule of where kids will be. Work directly with the Director on building out the schedule.
Plan and coordinate field trips, themes, and other fun ways to make the camp season exciting.
Meet revenue and sales targets as they relate to the department.
Review weekly revenue with the ability to pivot programs based on enrollment and feedback.
Support the team in marketing events to drive enrollment.
Work within a larger team of managers and directors that are dedicated to a culture of professionalism, ownership, team work, quality, and celebration. Be ready to work hard and celebrate your wins with your team!
QUALIFICATIONS :
Have experience working with kids. The ideal candidate has experience in camps or after school programs is preferred.
Positive attitude, collaborative mind set, and get it done mentality!
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
Comfortable talking and building relationships with parents.
Staying kid focused and finding creative ways to engage kids.
Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
