At Lakeshore Tennis Camps the Camp Counselor’s main role is to help campers have a fun and safe day at camp! Camp Counselors spend the summer working with kids of different ages, engaging in a range of fun tennis activities including drills and games! A summer to remember for campers and counselors alike!

Include the following: (other duties may be assigned)
- Ensure a safe and fun environment for kids.
- Lead and organize group activities and games per the daily schedule.
- Tennis games consist of skills and drills, fun games, and match play for the older kids.
- Tennis is the main programming of the day, with recess and swimming included.
- Support the Tennis Pro in overseeing activities, ensuring lines move quickly, feeding balls, and connecting with each child.
- Move the group between activities and support in getting lunch and snack organized.
- Participate in daily camp instructing alongside a group of other dynamic counselors. This is an active role the requires participation in activities.
- Be a leader in the space, ready to show up with a positive attitude and solution oriented mindset.
- Daily swimming for a fun swim is required of all staff.
- Must be an experienced Tennis player.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership
- Ability to maintain flexible attitude and approach towards assignments and successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines
