Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Day Center Certified Nursing Assistant for one of their partners within the healthcare industry.
Pay Range : $17.50 – $18.20 per hour (flexibility requested)
Location : Charlottesville, VA
Schedule : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM or 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Scope of Work
The Day Center CNA works in an Adult Day Health Center, assisting participants with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and providing restorative and supportive care in accordance with individualized care plans. Responsibilities include :
- Assisting participants with bathing, dressing, grooming, hair and mouth care, eating, and toileting
- Documenting care in compliance with policies, guidelines, and regulations
- Monitoring and reporting changes in vital signs, weight, skin condition, appetite, and functional ability
- Providing ambulation support, positioning, transferring, catheter care, oxygen management, and skin care
- Assisting participants during meals and feeding as necessary
- Reporting any accidents, incidents, or variances to appropriate personnel
- Helping with the loading and unloading of participants from vehicles
- Assisting the transportation department with take-home supplies
- Serving as a bus attendant to support participants during transportation
- Rotating into In-Home Services as a Homecare CNA if needed
- Participating in group and one-on-one activities according to the activity calendar
- Attending in-service training and continuing education programs
- Performing other duties as assigned
