Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a company specializing in custom-engineered modular solutions for the data and telecom industries to fill the role of Construction Sales Specialist . As a single-source solutions provider, they handle complex, high-volume projects with expertise and precision, developing innovative solutions tailored to customer needs. This key position, located in Aurora, Colorado , offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advancements in data centers, telecom infrastructure, and energy-efficient technologies. The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 annually .

Position and Responsibilities Overview

  • Provide deep technical insights into modular products, including turnkey modular data centers, UPS pods, e-houses, and electrical conveyance systems.
  • Stay updated on compliance standards and permitting processes for modular programs.
  • Lead the preparation of technical proposals, including understanding project requirements and specifications, and organizing an internal proposal plan with estimating, engineering, marketing, and production teams.
  • Ensure project inclusions and exclusions are clearly communicated internally and externally in customer-facing proposals.
  • Deliver detailed technical presentations to customers for business development or to present previously submitted proposals.
  • Maintain expertise on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies in the modular mission-critical space, with an emphasis on emerging areas like AI data centers, edge computing, green energy solutions, and power infrastructure.
  • Use insights to position the company’s solutions effectively and advise customers on innovations impacting modular infrastructure.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations, with all pertinent project information turned over to the operations team for seamless execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or pre-sales in the data center, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, or power markets. Experience with modular construction is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of data center and mission-critical infrastructure (power, cooling, network architecture, etc.), modular construction, and energy-efficient technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., Tier ratings, Uptime Institute standards) and a strong focus on providing customers with the technical details to make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of the data center commissioning process is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical writing skills to create proposals that clearly communicate business value and technical specifics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to offer innovative, compliant solutions tailored to customer needs across various modular product offerings.
  • Salary : $110,000 - $120,000
