Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role requires a love for animals and people, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Salary will be based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Process payments.
- Do reminder calls for medical care that is due
- Handle incoming mail/records and maintain cleanliness in the reception area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary care setting is required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and software applications related to veterinary practice management.
