Duties
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety for all individuals.
- Assist with medication administration and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatments, and progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with team members and documentation.
- Conduct routine assessments of patients’ health status and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the medical office setting.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Experience in caregiving or patient care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to facilitate effective communication.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or senior care is advantageous.
- Knowledge of catheter care procedures is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
