We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and introducing daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu or dietary restrictions.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Clear tables promptly after guests finish their meals, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, following all restaurant policies for payments.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests effectively.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Experience with bussing tables is beneficial for maintaining cleanliness during service.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and POS systems is a plus but not mandatory.
