Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This is a seasonal position from Memorial Day weekend- October 1st.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized waitlist during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations efficiently.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Address guest concerns promptly and courteously to enhance their dining experience.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Familiarity with POS systems for managing seating arrangements and reservations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the food service industry.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help both guests and team members alike.

This is a tipped out position.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
