Starting Pay : $90,000-$100,000 depending on experience
As our Continuous Improvement- Process Engineer, you will :
- Use your strong knowledge of process improvement methodology to analyze and interpret our manufacturing processes and data. Analyze trends or variations in order to define problems, prioritize, and drive solutions.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term plans to improve product and process quality, cycle time, productivity, and equipment downtime.
- Create, monitor site metrics, and empower the team to understand and monitor the metrics too. Develop, implement improvement plans, and solicit ideas from all over the site.
- Facilitate team meetings and lead teams to implement methods of measuring and holding gains in processes.
- Train the team on continuous improvement methods and use of statistical analysis.
- Gather, analyze and interpret data through evaluation of current processes. Prepare reports, charts, tables and other visual aids to summarize operations and highlight findings.
- Teach the team about Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Lead and facilitate activities targeted at cost reduction, productivity and process optimization, and quality performance.
- Evaluate our process improvement opportunities, define process metrics, and develop improvement plans
- Coordinate with other departments to prioritize process improvements to achieve operational excellence.
- Be a daily advocate of benefits of continuous improvement while dealing with various perceptions of the tools and their ability to impact the organization.
- 10% travel is required for improvement projects.
