Work Hours: Standard Working Hours (Monday - Friday)
Location: Harrisonburg, VA
As our Pricing Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee daily operations and assignments within the Pricing team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
- Lead execution of pricing tasks, including evaluating pricing models, competitor analysis, and market trends to establish consistent and competitive pricing.
- Assists in running complex pricing scenarios and models for contract negotiations and business deals, typically under director guidance.Ensures accurate implementation of pricing strategies and models in line with company standards, resolving operational-level issues.
- Works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to address pricing questions, support negotiations, and maintain consistency.
- Tracks team and individual performance, emphasizing short-term goals like quote turnaround, accuracy, and responsiveness.
- Implements process enhancements as directed, with a focus on efficient operational execution. Coaches and trains pricing analysts on procedures, systems, and policies to maintain team proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of work experience
- 5 years of experience performing pricing functions and complex economic modeling for contracts, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 2 years of supervisory experience, including experience working with or leading offshore or remote/virtual teams, preferred
- Advanced problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing complex pricing scenarios and applying prior business knowledge and acumen. Proficiency in pricing systems and tools, including Excel
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to independently manage, motivate, and drive team effectiveness and performance. Proven experience, ability, and comfort in collaborating effectively with various levels of management and/or teams, providing practical support and solutions
