Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from delivery trucks and containers.
- Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate shipping and receiving tasks.
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment required.
- Steel-toe shoes are required to be worn every day for this position.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, stoop, reach, and carry up to 50lbs, during an 8 to 10-hour shift.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Ability to work mandatory overtime which could include Saturdays.
- Pay - $19.50/hr
- Shift – Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm (changing to 11:30am-7:30pm on 5/26/25), with mandatory overtime as required.
- Location – 5550 W. 74th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268
- This is a seasonal position, beginning as early as April and lasting through the duration of our peak season, with no guarantee of a permanent role offer.
