Lakeside Christian Academy is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Preschool Administrator professional. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills and will provide essential administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our preschool. This role is pivotal in supporting the Preschool Director, staff, parents, and students.
Description
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
· Support the Director with daily administrative tasks.
- Manage and maintain preschool records, including student files, attendance records, and staff documentation.
- Prepare and distribute communications, such as newsletters, announcements, and reports.
- Greet and assist parents, visitors, and students in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Schedule appointments and manage the preschool’s calendar of events.
- Assist with the enrollment process, including distributing and collecting registration forms, verifying documentation, and maintaining enrollment records.
- Coordinate with parents and guardians to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and up-to-date
- Assist with tuition billing and collection, including generating invoices and processing payments.
- Manage inventory of office and classroom supplies, including ordering, receiving, and distributing materials.
- Ensure that supplies are well-stocked and organized.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating preschool events, meetings, and activities.
- Provide logistical support for events, including setting up and breaking down spaces, arranging catering, and preparing materials.
- Maintain records of student health information and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with implementing and monitoring safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office support experience, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with learning new software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Position Details
- Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday.
- Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for school events or meetings.
- Work is performed in a busy office environment, with frequent interruptions and interaction with staff, parents, and students.
