Job Overview
Lakeside Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic preschool teacher to join our team! Here at LEL, we pride ourselves on high quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood education.
Teachers get daily prep time in order to plan and prep daily centers including art, science, math, and literacy activities. We are a 4 star Parent Aware program, so candidates must be willing to keep up on education requirements. This is a full-time position with 10 days PTO in addition to paid holidays and Christmas break (1 week).
Duties include
- Create developmentally appropriate and engaging lesson plans
- Provide care and support for preschoolers in a safe and welcoming environment
-Conduct assessments and conferences twice a year
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students to ensure a collaborative learning environment
Requirements
- Previous experience working with young students is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education techniques
- Ability to plan and execute age-appropriate activities
-Must be teacher qualified through MN DHS Rule 3
Aflac available. Preference given to candidates with an early childhood or elementary education degree.
