Summary
As a Site Lead at Lakeside Facility Services, you will oversee daily operations at our client sites, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service are maintained. This role is essential in fostering a positive work environment and enhancing client satisfaction through effective leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in custodial services and hospitality.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to maintain cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and improve service delivery.
- Develop schedules for staff to optimize productivity and coverage at client sites.
- Implement company policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
- MUST HAVE 3 YEARS PRIOR SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION
Job Expectations:
- Train new hires on their assignment and assign duties to the custodial crew.
- Nightly building inspections to confirm it has been completed to Lakesides standards.
- Enforce all policies and procedure. This will include: making sure employees are at work on time, in proper uniform, following safety guidelines, etc.
- In charge of weekly supply orders, keeping supply closets orderly, and notifying management of any issues in the building.
- Covering areas when there are call offs to ensure all work is completed.
Job Requirements:
- You must have reliable transportation to get you to and from work nightly and dependable child care.
- Supervisory experience in the janitorial field.
- Willing to undergo a background check and obtain a TB test.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facility services management.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Experience in hospitality or custodial services is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Leadership experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety protocols is a plus.
