You'll work closely with our Plant Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations, from acquiring raw materials to processing products, maintaining quality assurance, andshipping quality-finished products.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure all plant equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
• Request materials and labor necessary to maintain plant machinery.
• Assist Engineering and supervisor in all plant changes and additions approved by Plant Management.
• Work with the General Manager to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
• Assist in supervision of all areas of Lakeside's Plant operations to include a team of over 20 employees.
• Coordinate personnel to develop and maintain an effective safety training program.
• Cooperate with General Plant Manager and Quality Control personnel to maintain a clean and orderly plant.
• Assist in production of product to Lakeside Foods quality standards in an efficient manner.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and costs for plant operations.

What You'll Bring:

• A four-year college degreeor equivalent experience is preferred.
• Strong skills in team building, safety leadership, and organization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plant operations and equipment.
• Prior supervisory experience is essential.
• Experience in food production and safety is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement processes is a plus.
• Maintenance experience is a plus
