What You'll Do:
Operate and set up label machine/equipment.
Lubricate, adjust and clean label machine/equipment.
Maintain and set up machinery on the label line.
Responsible for preventative maintenance on all labeling equipment.
Examine cans to ensure that the correct labels are being applied to the designated product and batch.
Examine the cartons to ensure that the cartons are printed according to the customer's specifications.
Inspect and compare pallet tickets against pallet load to ensure accuracy.
Complete all necessary entries on order and label work order.
Complete daily label report.
Record and explain all extra cases used.
Knowledge of computers for bar coding & TrakSyS.
Operate computerized printing equipment.
Assist in training employees in the label department.
Complete Quality Assurance paperwork in the absence of Quality Assurance personnel.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
