What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Washer position at Lakeside Hotel Casino?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Other duties may be assigned:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold and store all linens, towels and other washable items.
- Properly and safely uses all soaps, chemicals and equipment for cleaning linens, towels and other items.
- Keeps all areas of the laundry room and its equipment clean and organized.
- Assists Hotel Housekeepers as needed.
- Ensures proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed.
- Keep inventory of all items.
- Attends all company required training.
- Complies with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
- Adheres to all safety guidelines.
- Meets company attendance requirements.
- May be required to work days, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to work cohesively with co-workers and work as a team.
- Ability to carry out instructions.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards customers, co-workers and other department staff.
