What are the responsibilities and job description for the Table Games Supervisor position at Lakeside Hotel Casino?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, Other duties may be assigned:
- Supervision of the casino pit in the absence of the Casino Shift Manager (CSM) focusing on table game dealers and the play on their specific games in that section.
- Oversight of all employees within the department regarding issues, discipline and game protection in the absence of the Casino Shift Manager.
- Oversight of the daily schedule in absence of the Casino Shift Manager.
- Input fills and credits.
- Cancel dice when they are taken off the game.
- Ensure compliance with Federal currency reporting requirements.
- Responsible for basic promotion knowledge and writing comps to guests as needed.
- Implement departmental and company procedures including, but not limited to, the security of monies, record keeping and shift and attendance documentation.
- Issues and voids comps.
- Roadmaps required personnel for shift.
- Communicate regularly with employees and keep them informed of all casino activities and events.
- Settles customer disputes that cannot be readily resolved by subordinates.
- Ensure proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed.
- Attend all company required training.
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines.
- Meet company attendance requirements.
- May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays at Director’s discretion.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises Table Games Dealers on an assigned shift to include training and education, documenting and addressing concerns and complaints and resolving issues. Must carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior Gaming experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License.
LANGUAGE SKILLS - Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS - Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
